At Arrowpoint Cattle Co. we raise natural grass-fed and grass-finished highland beef holistically. Our cattle are born and raised here, from start to finish. We also produce ranch-raised pork and host selected events at our scenic, high-elevation properties in Nathrop, Colorado.
Our close-knit team believes that ranching can serve animals, people and the land in a virtuous cycle. The animals we raise live good lives and produce delicious, high-quality, nutrient-dense protein for you, your children and your pets. Treating our animals right also means treating the soil and the land right, creating habitat for the native plants, animals and microorganisms of the region.

We Are Rooted in
the Rockies
Doc Roberts started this operation in 1959. His daughters build on his legacy, stewarding and improving the ranch using regenerative principles and holding leadership roles in preserving the land and heritage of the West. Arrowpoint’s Highland cattle have been bred to thrive at over 8,000 feet. They are hardy, resilient and thrifty, like the folks that live in this great state. We believe our community deserves premium, nutrient-dense beef which reflects their own enduring qualities and healthy lifestyles.
We Practice Regenerative Ranching
We “let the grass win.” The goal at Arrowpoint Cattle Co. is to improve rangeland and soil health through regenerative practices. Our animals are a tool to enhance biodiversity and sustainability, serving the purpose that herds of bison and other ungulates served throughout this region, turning and fertilizing the soil as they migrate over the landscape and helping the grassland habitat thrive. Healthy, diverse grass adds to the profoundly dense flavor profile of our beef.
We Raise Our Animals Responsibly and Value What They Provide
From calving to ultimately producing premium all-natural beef, our cattle are under our care every step of the way. They spend their entire lives stress free, roaming and nurturing the diverse rangeland. Out of respect for what these amazing animals provide us, the whole animal goes into our ranch provisions and products. Organ meats go into our healthy pet treats. We make soaps, salves and candles from tallow and tanned hides are available to bring a piece of ranch life home.
